Dave Clancy - CEO

Dave has over 40 years of experience in the Transportation Industry as an executive leader and entrepreneur. His Marine Corp training and three year stint in Vietnam provided Dave the foundation for his disciplined approach to leadership, personal integrity, and the perseverance to succeed not only in business, but more importantly in life.

Considered an industry visionary by his peers, Dave pioneered the on-demand same day courier/messenger business in the greater Portland/Vancouver metro area back in 1984 with his first company, On Time Delivery.

A few years later he founded Express It Delivery Services, currently named City Sprint, which included same day cargo and trucking services which was virtually unheard of at the time. For the last 25 years, Dave has not only grown City Sprint into one of the Northwest’s largest and most respected delivery and logistics business, he’s paved the way for other companies through his instrumental efforts in getting many of the State’s regulatory requirements changed or eliminated that existed for our industry during the 80’s and 90’s.

To a large extent, much of City Sprint’s growth over the years can be attributed to Dave’s strong belief in championing creative thinking at all levels of an organization. But despite Dave’s extraordinary vision and success, his greatest attributes continue to be his selfless commitment to family, valued employees, and the community we live in.

John Shelley - Director of Marketing and Business Development

John is responsible for developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies that will garner continued growth at City Sprint and create strong customer loyalty.

John has spent most of his 30 year sales and marketing career in the information management and business process outsourcing services industries. During a 14 year span at a critical communications distribution and e-billing company, he was instrumental in growing it from a start-up to an industry leader.

Ashley Andrews – Administration Manager

Ashley has over eight years of business administration and accounting experience. After receiving her degree in business administration, Ashley worked at Lowe’s for three years as an administrative and accounting assistant. She joined City Sprint in 2008 as a dispatch/customer service specialist where she learned the complexities of the on-demand delivery business that helped her transition into an administrative assistant in 2010. Almost immediately, Ashley was instrumental in improving our administration efficiencies that eventually led to her assuming managerial responsibilities for the department in 2012. She is highly disciplined and creative as she pushes for continual improvement in all processes within the organization.

Wade Preble – Warehouse Manager

Wade is responsible for managing supervisors and all warehouse operations associated with the shipping, receiving, inventory control, and fulfillment functions.  He develops staffing requirements, and makes adjustments to staffing assignments as necessary.  He is responsible for our warehouse meeting safety, production and service standards.
